    Disclaimer
Yes, I'm a big hippie and make some choices in parenting that are considered unusual in our society. No, I don't expect everyone to choose the same path as me in every choice I make. If you don't understand something, ask. If you don't want answers, don't ask.

I'm going bald! Oh the joys of post partum hormones.

It's been awhile since I updated last but we're all moved in to our new place. Not quite all organized, but all moved in anyway. Margie is enjoying the back yard. She'll enjoy it more when she has someone to play with, though, because really, outside stuff isn't much fun alone.

Otherwise she's doing well. She's often either tantruming or bawling over every little thing, of course. But otherwise she's great. When my grandpa died she told me she'd share hers with me. She is a really sweet child. And we've been doing a LOT of reading. The library's summer program is almost over and we'll have done 75 books by then. It's been fun for her and good quiet bonding time for us together. We haven't done any real homeschooling though for awhile because of the move. We'll gat back on that next week. Hopefully.

Oh she did lose a cap on her tooth, though. UGH. Alex gave her a tootsie roll at a birthday party for the next-door neighbor last week. I was going to tell him no, but the one time I decided to just let it go, look what happens. Luckily it's not one of the really bad ones, so it can wait till we have money to get it fixed.

Elliott is changing even more. He's no longer a newborn at all. *sniff* He likes talking to himself in the mirror in his Gymni - it's so sweet. Also, this week he's discovered how to put his hand in his mouth so he does that a lot. And he grabs things. He doesn't reach for things, but like his clothes or a blanket end up in his grip and therefore in his mouth. He smiles when he sees me. He smiles for Margie, too. It's darling. He is just the sweetest boy I've ever met, really. I still wish Margie had a sister, but I couldn't ask for a more perfect fit for our family than Elliott. Who, by the way, gets call all sorts of fun nicknames like Belliott or Belly for short. Or Bell for even shorter. Or Ell-Bell. Or Buddy, or Chubby-Buddy. Or Bo, which is a more manly version of Margie's "Boo".

And now Margie wants some nut milk so I better go do that. :)
